Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Verispec (the “Service”) operated by Stratos Digital LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Verispec is a software-as-a-service platform designed for home inspectors. The Service includes tools for managing inspections, generating AI-assisted reports, processing payments, scheduling, and related business management features.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 18 years old and a licensed professional (or operating under proper supervision) to use the Service for commercial inspection work.

4. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in our refund policy.

Free trials are available as advertised. At the end of a trial period, your account will be automatically charged unless you cancel before the trial ends. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or inspection findings
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to transmit harmful, offensive, or fraudulent content
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the Service without our permission
• Use automated means to access the Service in a way that exceeds normal usage

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to assist in generating inspection report narratives and other content (“AI Content”). You acknowledge that:

• AI Content is generated as a tool to assist you, not to replace your professional judgment
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI Content before delivery to clients
• We make no warranty that AI Content is accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific use
• You retain all liability for the accuracy of inspection reports delivered to your clients

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, designs, text, and graphics, is owned by Stratos Digital LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you create using the Service (inspection reports, photos, etc.).

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STRATOS DIGITAL LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stratos Digital LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful to the Service or other users. You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Orange County, Florida.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
